The PreSonus AudioBox® iTwo is a USB 2.0 bus-powered audio interface compatible with Mac®, Windows® PC, and Apple iPad®. The rugged, lightweight portable design makes this device an excellent choice for mobile musicians, sound designers, and podcasters. Now you can record virtually anything from synths, guitars, and voice, on the go. The iTwo has two switchable line/instrument and mic-level inputs with a high-performance microphone preamplifier. MIDI input and output ports also allow you to connect your favorite MIDI controller or synth. The PreSonus iTwo also comes bundled with easy-to-use recording software, making it a complete, multiplatform recording solution. The only problem with the AudioBox® iTwo is that it does not have its own power source, and instead draws power only from the USB port. This is great when connected to a desktop computer or laptop, but when connected to an iPad, it does not draw power from the iPad and requires an additional connection to a USB power source.
